民族英雄杨靖宇的爱国故事
抗日民族英雄杨靖宇，原名马尚德。他十四岁时，在**省确山第二高等小学读书，那时，正是俄国十月**爆发的第二年。在马克思列宁主义的影响下，杨靖宇很快成长为反帝、反**的积极分子。他以满腔热情同进步同学一起参加了罢课*，走上街头贴标语，散发传单，到火车站查烧日货。
学生们的罢课*使军阀官僚们胆战心惊，他们慌忙采取卑鄙手段阻止学生的爱国活动。一天，教育局派了几个“学监”，到确山第二高等小学进行“视察”、“监督”，并以“钦差大臣”的姿态命令学生复课。这些“学 监”不仅仇视学生，对教员、工人也是指手划脚，神气十足。
有一天，一个学监的衣服丢了。他无根无据地猜疑是在学校的李老头作的案，不问青红皂白，就叫来几个兵差，把李老头捆绑起来，吊在树上，硬要他“招认”。李老头是位老实人，无端地受此冤屈，气得呜呜直哭。
正在这时，杨靖宇来到了现场。他压根儿不相信李老头会偷衣服，拳头一攥，就冲到兵差面前：“你们诬赖好人，再不把人放下来，就揍你们!” 话音未落，几十名学生也都围了上来，包围圈越来越小。几个兵差见学生来 势汹汹，龟缩在一起，没有一个敢说话的。
校长闻讯赶来，怕惹出乱子，就对同学们说：“快散开!快散开!你们要少管闲事!这非同小可!”这时，杨靖宇又挺身而出，冲着校长说：“我们反对陷害好人，这怎么叫管闲事?”校长指着他说：“马尚德，你还想不想读书!”杨靖宇毫不示弱，理直气壮地说：“不读就不读，你们开除吧， 这里不是教育人的学校，是衙门!”校长感到自己无能为力，连摇头带跺脚地走了。几个兵差见学生人多势众，就无可奈何地把李老头从树上放了下来。
这件事发生不久，杨靖宇就离开了确山第二高等小学。
